About the Institute of Pharmacy
The Institute of Pharmacy supplies clinics, institutes and institutions with drugs and other medical material purchased from domestic and/or foreign manufacturers or its own production.
The Institute carries out such a complex activity thanks to the modern organization of its four main organizational units: Medical Material Department, Pharmaceutical Technology Department, Drug Investigation and Control Department , and the Medical Supply Section.

The MMA Institute of Pharmacy has inherited the tradition of the MMA Pharmacy, which exists since 1909 when the hospital was founded.

The Institute carries out such a complex activity thanks to the modern organization of its four main organizational units: Medical Material Department, Pharmaceutical Technology Department, Drug Investigation and Control Department, and the Medical Supply Section.
- It offers medical education and training
- Residency programs of postgraduate training in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology;
- Practical training before entering a hospital residency program in the field of Pharmacological Information Technology;
- Practical training before entering a hospital residency program in the field of Drug Investigation and Control Department;
- Educational base of postgraduate training for pharmacists, physicians and dentists;
- Educational base of continuous training for pharmacists, physicians and dentists in the filed of pharmacy;
- Educational base of training for School of Pharmacy graduates undergoing a compulsory internship program;
- Practical training for Schools of Pharmacy and pharmaceutical secondary schools’ graduates;
- Base for continuous keeping pace with contemporary achievements in all the branches of Pharmacy;
- Base for development of doctrinaire approaches in the field of pharmaceutical practice important for operation of Medical Services and institutions in the framework of the Armed Forces;
- Base for teaching War Pharmacy in the Center for Medical Services Organization and Tactics.

- Master’s and PhD programs
- Development and carrying out of research projects in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacological Information Technology (IT), Pharmacological Economy and Drug Quality Control;
