Supplies other than medical
Supplies other than medical go through the Sector for Logistics, which has storage facilities for storing material-technical means required for proper operation of the Military Medical Academy.
Procurement and Receipt Section carries out all the activities relating to planned medical supply including:
- Technical spare parts and operating supplies for maintenance of medical apparatus and devices for general purpose;
- Food and food products, etc. ... for the needs of both medical personnel and patients;
- Spare parts and operating supplies for infrastructural maintenance of the MMA building;
- Other supplies required for operation of all organizational units (food for experimental animals, office supplies, hygienic means, and material for maintaining lawns).
Procurement of main medical supplies and means for general purpose for the MMA needs is the responsibility of the MoD Supply Department.
In order to check quantitative-quality functioning of contract equipment, it is controlled upon receipt by Receiving Commission.
Planning unit deals with the following:
- Development of plans for supply of spare parts and operating supplies on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis in coordination with all organizational units (clinics, institutes, centers, departments);
- Development of plans for supply of main medical supplies and devices for general purpose;
- Analyses of supply plans on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis;
- Initiation of procurement process with MoD Supply Department and control of its execution.
Medical supplies storage facility is responsible for the following:
- Reception of supplies based on contract documents
- Storage of received supplies in line with regulations in place
- Keeping stored supplies
- Maintaining records on supplies on hand
- Renovation and condemnation of deteriorated means
- The MMA Supply Department is responsible for procurement. It is carried out in line with the following Acts:
- Act on Public Procurement (published in Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No 39 dated 05.07.2002: 43/03,55/04 and 101/2005) and,
- MoD Bylaw on Public Procurement (small value contracts) (Official Military Gazette No 29 dated 22.11.2007)
