About Center
Security Center is an organizational unit of the Military Medical Academy responsible for planning, organizing and executing general security related activities as well as operationally preventive activities and criminal matters within the MMA complex and its detached facilities. It is the main responsible for the general security affairs.
Assignments
- To manage Military Police activities according to Rules and Regulations governing the Military Police affairs;
- To plan, organize and implement MMA protection measures in the general security area;
- To control general security conditions and provide security assessments and proposals of measures for their improvement;
- Direct coordination with Military Security Agency organs through information exchange and professional support in documenting criminal acts that fall in the area of their responsibility;
- Operational-criminal related cooperation with Ministry of Interior organs and units in the zone of territorial responsibility, military jurisdictional and other jurisdictional and state agencies in dealing with Military Police issues;
- Regular reporting to the MMA head on general security conditions and criminality;
- To prepare and develop security regulations and orders governing Military Police affairs within the Military Medical Academy as well as general security regulations;
- Involvement in evaluating functional readiness and assessing 'SECURITY' level within MMA organizational units.
Security Center operates through Crime Prevention unit, security platoon commander and Military Police Section commander. It is operated by its head acting as a managing and administrative organ.
Center’s Head – Colonel Mićo Čudić
Colonel Mićo Čudić was born in 1962 in Otočac where he completed his elementary education. He attended Military Gymnasium and graduated from the Army Military Academy and General-Staff School in Belgrade. He has served important positions in the Security Service. He also completed specialist’s studies in the field of organized crime and corruption. In May 2005, he assumed thge position of the head of Security Center. Moderate knowledge of German and Slovenian.
