Establishment of the Healthcare Department has given a new quality to the provision of high quality health care.
Such organization of work secures the following:
- good organization of nursing practice;
- high quality nursing services;
- holistic approach to the patient;
- effective, economical and standardized working method;
- introduction of applicable healthcare documentation with the elements for evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice;
- continuous education of nursing staff at all levels including advanced study programs in specific areas of nursing practice;
- research work aimed at the development of nursing practice and profession, and
- development of professionalism in all areas of work applying the ethical principles.
The Department has two sections:
1. Section for professional-methodological work
- Development and improvement of health care
- Education and training
- Mentor work
- Organization of expert meetings and events
- Research work
- Publication activities
- Creation of conditions and introduction of quality standards in the area of healthcare
2. Section for organization of healthcare
- Analytical activities (standards, professional supervision, education, researches, analyses), and
- Operational-technical activities (nutrition and hygiene, healthcare-related cooperation with Logistic Services, planning and supply of medical and quartermaster equipment).
