Clinic for Urology

The Clinic for Urology developed from the Urology Department of the Clinic for Surgical Diseases established in 1950.
From 1950 to 1960, the Urology Department was operated by Col. Prof. Solomon Adanja, M.D., Ph.D.
His successor was Col. Prof. Mirko Černić, M.D., Ph.D. who run the Clinic from 1969 to 1981.
In 1981, that position was assumed by Col. Prof. Dušan Manojlović, M.D., Ph.D.
In 1983, the Urology Department was separated from the Clinic for Surgical Diseases and  grew into the Clinic for Urology run by Col. Prof. Dušan Manojlović until 1994.
From 1994 to 2002, the head of of the Clinic was Col. Prof. Dejan Elaković, and from 2002 till the end of 2007, Col. Prof. Borislav Stijelja performed that duty.

The Clinic  has two Departments and 50 beds in operations. It is housed on the 11th floor of the MMA’s building. It has two operating rooms within the MMA’s Operating Block.

It performs about 1800 surgical procedures  each year. Some of them are as follows:
