A visit by representatives of the Russian Armed Forces

 The delegation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, headed by the Deputy Chief of Staff for the NBCR of the Russian Federation, Major General Kikot Sergey Grigorievich, who was visiting the Training Command of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, visited the Military Medical Academy and the MMA National Poison Control Center. 
The Head of the Military Healthcare Department, Colonel Dr. Ugljesa Jovicic, welcomed the Russian guests and briefly introduced them to the organization of military healthcare. He emphasized the good cooperation of two military medical services and said that there were numerous areas where this cooperation could be improved, such as scientific research and scientific publications. He especially emphasized the possibility of publishing scientific papers in the Vojnosanitetski pregled, a prominent scientific journal of the Ministry of Defence.
Acting Head of the MMA Colonel Prof. Miroslav Vukosavljevic said that the 174-year-long tradition of MMA heritage is full of examples of good cooperation between Russian-Serbian military medicine and that some of the founders of Serbian medicine had been trained in medical schools in Moscow and St. Petersburg. He emphasized the importance of further exchange of knowledge and experience in the established model that should be developed in the future.
Deputy Head of the National Poison Control Center of MMA Prof. Dr. Jasmina Jovic-Stosic presented the work of the Center, especially aspects related to the NBCR area.
