The representative of the Military Medical Services of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Major Dr. Ramil Ahmadov, who was on a visit to the Department of the Military Medical Services of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, visited the Military Medical Academy. The Acting Head Col. Prof. Dr. Zoran Segrt welcomed the guest and conveyed his satisfaction with the establishment of a direct contact between representatives of the military medical services of the two friendly countries that have great potential for future cooperation.

All basic segments of the Military Medical Academy activities were presented to the guest from Azerbaijan during his visit. A particular interest was shown for the exchange of experience in the organization of teaching at the MMA’s Medical Faculty of the University of Defence in Belgrade, the participation of the Military Medical Services in peacekeeping missions, novelties in surgery, transplantation program as well as for other topics related to treatment, military medical education and specialization.
