Dermoscopy Devices Granted to Military Medical Academy

Donation to the Military Medical Academy, which is carried out in the framework of the national campaign for early detection of skin cancer, "Examination for everyone" by Eucerin Serbia and B92 Fund with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, was presented today at the Military Medical Academy.
Acting Head of the Military Medical Academy Colonel Prof. Zoran Segrt expressed his satisfaction that the MMA was a part of this very important national program of the Ministry of Health which would undoubtedly contribute to reducing the number of late diagnosed melanoma. He pointed out that MMA has organized every year the preventive examinations for citizenship with the aim at detecting the early skin cancer and raising awareness about the importance of medical examination and self-examination of the skin. The contribution of the MMA is reflected in the fact that the doctors of the Clinic for Skin and Venereal Diseases MMA being members of the expert team of the national program are participants in creating campaigns and educating dermatologists throughout Serbia. He thanked the representatives of Serbian companies Eucerin Nadi Miletic Nevajda and B92 Fund Sandri Pajović for valuable donated equipment, four manual and one digital dermoscope devices that would provide examinations for an even greater number of citizens in order to timely diagnose one of the most malignant form of skin tumors.
