Head of the Hungarian Medical Corps visited Military Healthcare

Head of the Military Healthcare Department Brigadier General Dr. Uglješa Jovičcc and Head of the Military Medical Academy Colonel Prof. Miroslav Vukosavljević met today with a delegation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Hungary, led by Head of Medical Corps Brigadier General Dr. Istvan Kopco.
The meeting, held in order to consider the possibility of improving military medical cooperation, was attended by the Dean of the MMA Faculty of Medicine, Colonel Dr. Tihomir Ilic.
During the talks, the guests were presented the capacities and scope of work of the military healthcare system, and special interest was given to the organization of the MMA treatment service, as well as the necessary logistics support. There were also talks about the formation and improvement of medical staff at the MMA Faculty of Medicine. Part of the talks focused on topics of particular interest, such as experiences from peacekeeping missions, and it was concluded that there were significant potentials for enhancing cooperation in military medicine.
After the meeting, General Kopco gave a lecture on operational logistical support in peacekeeping operations. The Hungarian delegation ended the visit by visiting the MMA's organizational units in order to get acquainted with the technical equipment and organization of work of the Cardiology and Emergency Internal Medicine Clinic, the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and the Institute of Radiology.
