Indonesian Parliament Delegation at MMA

Representatives of the Association of Serbian-Indonesian parliamentary group of friendship and National President Council of the Republic of Indonesia paid a visit to the Military Medical Academy within their official visit to the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. The MMA’s deputy head Colonel Prof. Dr. Dragan Dincic and his associates wished a warm welcome to the delegation, led by Milton Pakpahan and ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia Samuel Samson.
The MMA’s deputy head Prof. Dr. Dincic expressed his gratitude on behalf of the MMA’s management board on the honor this delegation demonstrated with this visit. He introduced the guests with the treatment, education and scientific-research work potentials of the Military Medical Academy adding the fact that signed Agreement on Defence Cooperation between Serbia and Indonesia in 2011 represents the base for further collaboration improvement in the field of military medicine.
The ambassador Samson said that Indonesia has great experience with education and professional training of their physicians at the Military Medical Academy in the past period and that there is the wish to continue this type of collaboration. Concerning the fact that Indonesia participates in numerous peace keeping missions around the world, there is also the possibility of cooperation in the work of medical teams in these missions.
Delegation chief, Mr. Pakpahan pointed out their greatest interest for sharing knowledge and experiences in the sphere of surgery and transplantation, education and specialist studies for Indonesian physicians at Military Medical Academy as well as for providing medical services to Indonesian citizens in this facility.

Both sides accorded about mutual interest and excellent basis to define concrete activities in further meetings and to raise the level of military medical collaboration on the desired level.
