Media Training for MMA Managers

Two days of media training and training of crisis communication for members of the Military Medical Academy, who are in charge of leadership, was held in the organization of the Public Relations Directorate, with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom and the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Belgrade.
Opening the training, the Battleship Captain Petar Boskovic, the Head of the Public Relations Department, emphasized the importance of cooperation with the media, especially in an institution such as the Military Medical Academy which with its professional work enjoys great confidence among citizens.
Colonel Simon Fitzgibbon, United Kingdom Defence Attaché, said that it is a privilege to have this kind of training, because good cooperation with the media provides a better understanding of our everyday work and what we are best at.
The goal of the media training is to develop capacities in the field of public relations of medical personnel at the Military Medical Academy and to improve relations with the media. A special focus was on improving communication skills in crisis situations.
Media training is jointly carried out by experts from the United Kingdom Public Relations Center of the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence and the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia.
