Delegation of the Military Health Care Department, led by the Colonel Prof. Dr. Zoran Popović, paid a visit to the Šabac Medical Department within the framework of its regular activities. The said delegation was also comprised of the MMA’s representatives, head of the Treatment Sector Col. Dr. Stevan Sikimić and the head of the Internal Clinics Group of the MMA Treatment Sector Prof. Dr. Zoran Hajduković. The delegation was informed on the organization and treatment of the military insured patients using the services of this Department. It gave the suggestions concerning the implementation of the new method of the health services provided in a way of giving the bigger importance to the selected doctor and primary, secondary and tertiary level of health protection. In addition, the military doctors examined about 30 patients having the need for the specialist orthopedic, endocrinology and pulmology check-ups.

During the visit to the community-health center Šabac, Col. Popović showed his appreciation to its head Prim. Dr. Vesna Đurić on the good collaboration this health center accomplishes with the Šabac Medical Department.
