Red Star Football Club Delegation visited MMA

Belgrade, October 13 – The MMA Head, Major General Prof. Dr. Miodrag Jevtić hosted the President of the Red Star Football Club Vladan Lukić who paid a visit to the Military Medical Academy with his colleagues.
‘’The Military Medical Academy is a temple dedicated to the human health, while our sportsmen are promoters of healthy Serbia. Many of them, either as individuals or team members have put their trust in our institution to care about their health. We have had, over several years, a very successful cooperation with both Serbian Football Association and Partizan Football Club. Our treatment, healthcare and rehabilitation capabilities are great, and what is even more significant, we also have great preventive medicine capabilities and provide support to the sportsmen in terms of their physiological, psychological and dietetic preparation and treatment. We are willing to invest in the further development of sports medicine. We believe that the future cooperation between the Military Medical Academy and the Red Star Football Club should be of mutual interest and be one step forward in affirmation of health as a precondition for sports successes and progress in general’’, said General Jevtić in his welcome address.
‘’We want this meeting to mark the beginning of successful and long-term cooperation between two widely famous and well-known Serbian brands - the Military Medical Academy and the Red Star Football Club. Good health and physical condition are preconditions for every sportsman to make a success, and the Military Medical Academy is the right place for taking care of our health. Through the provision of extensive medical support to the Belgrade Universiade 2009, you have shown to the world the way the MMA’s experts care about our sportsmen. However, all our colleagues from other clubs speak about MMA’s doctors, their knowledge and skills with great pleasure’’, said the President of the Red Star Football Club Vladan Lukić thanking General Jevtić for a warm reception.
During the discussion, all the possibilities of establishing concrete cooperation between the Military Medical Academy and the Red Star Football Club were considered and activities to be further taken in that context were agreed.
