Voluntary blood donation organized by the MMA Institute of Blood Transfusion and Hemobiology and Zabela Correctional Institution, Pozarevac was held in October 29th, 2014. It has been collected 137 blood units from the people working in Zabela thus representing the best response to one’s blood donation that Institute has organized during this year.

Donation was held after the visit realized by the Military Medical Academy Head BG Prof. Dr. Marijan Novakovic to Zabela. On this particular occasion, the Head of the MMA Group of Clinics for Internal Medicine Col. Prof. Dr. Djoko Maksic spoke about the significance of organ donation and about 150 donor cards have been signed.
