The African Union Commission at MMA

The delegation of the African Union Commission, led by the Chairperson HE Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, who were in the official visit to the Republic of Serbia, visited the Military Medical Academy. The aim of a visit was to see the MMA's capacities, especially in the field of training and education of the medical staff, and to learn about experiences from the medical teams' participation in peacekeeping missions in Africa and war injuries treatment.
The Head of the MMA's Sector for Education and Scientific Research Colonel Dr Miroslav Brocic with his associates welcomed the quests and briefly presented the work of the Military Medical Academy, as well as the education at the MMA's Faculty of Medicine of the Defence University in Belgrade. Also, the activities of the MMA's Trainig Center of the Military Medical Services were presented, and the physicians who had participated in the multinational operation in Chad and Central African Republic (MINURCAT) informed quests about their experiences and challenges they had faced during their engagement.
