Belgrade, August 21 - At the initiative of Elemir residents, a mobile team of the MMA Institute of Transfusiology went to this Vojvodina place where, in a coordinated manner with the Voluntary Blood Donors Association of the Republic of Serbia, it organized the action of voluntary blood donation through which39, 52 liters of blood from 76 donors were collected.

Guided by the basic principle of the Transfusiology Sservice that ‘the blood should be pre-secured for the wounded and sick’ mobile teams of the MMA Institute of Transfusiology equipped with modern vehicles for collecting blood in the field made tours of 54 garrisons of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia from January through July this year.

In the same period, the MMA Institute of Transfusiology in collaboration with Voluntary Blood Donors Associations “Serbian Oil Industry - Oilgas”, “Galenika”, “Belgrade Water Supply and Sewerage Service”, “Belgrade Transportation Service” organized several actions of blood donation.
