Lectures in the Field of Occupational Medicine

The expert meeting, organized by the Section of Occupational Medicine of the Serbian Medical Society and the Institute of Occupational Medicine MMA, was held in the amphitheater of the Military Medical Academy.
After the introductory part during which the Assembly of the Section Presidency was held, participants were welcomed by the Head of the Institute of Occupational Medicine MMA Colonel. Dr. Dragan Aleksic. Speaking about this field of preventive medicine he noted that it required renewal in terms of personnel and equipment for the purpose of continuous trends and training practice monitoring, and after that Dr Aleksic presented the lecture topics in brief.
In addition to radiological and toxicological protection that scientific associate Dr. Mirjana Radenković from the Institute of Nuclear Sciences "Vinca", and MMA’s Prof. Dr. Branka Djurovic spoke about, and Mpharm Marija Djordjevic Odovic spoke about phenol, one of the major polluters not only of working but also environmental surroundings.
