Military Medical Cooperation with the Kingdom of Norway

Meeting of the Joint Working Group for military medical cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Norway was held at the Military Medical Academy.
The plan of bilateral military medical cooperation was discussed at the meeting, and in the opinion of both sides, the cooperation is excellent. It was pointed out that the results of bilateral activities should support the structuring of the Balkan Medical Task Forces. It was also discussed about the most important activities planned for the current year, which in addition to regular maintenance of the Light field hospital level 2 include the standardization of war surgery course at the Military Medical Academy where the Norwegian medical experts are planned to attend.
In addition to discussions about current issues of bilateral military medical cooperation – a project development of military medical courses for distance learning, exchange of specialists in preventive medicine and organization of the Third Military Medical Conference in 2018, also models for joint engagement of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Norway in the UN missions were discussed.
