07. 02. 2010

The beginning of the school year for 25 students of the 95th Class of the Medical Services Reserve Officers School and the 93rd Class of the Veterinary Services Reserve Officers School was officially marked in the Amphitheater of the Military Medical Academy in the presence of the MMA head, heads of the MMA organizational units and teachers.

’’Welcome to the Military Medical Academy. My wish is to see you working hard, learning a lot to expand both your theoretical knowledge and practical experience and become better than we are. However, I do hope that you will never happen to apply into your practice some specific knowledge that you are going to acquire here and which relates, in particular, to the management of the wounded and sick in disaster situations’’, said the MMA head, Major General Prof. Miodrag Jevtić, MD, PhD, in his welcoming address. He also reminded the present that the Military Medical Academy was the institution of historical importance.
’’Our obligation is to pass all our knowledge we have gained from generations involved in the establishment and development of this house down to the younger generations, to you and the students of the future Defence University School of Medicine, which, I sincerely hope, will be established here very soon’’, said General Jevtić.
