The Letter of Thanks to the MMA for Providing Medical Support to the Wrestling Championship

The Organizing Committee of the European Senior Championship in male and female Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling, held from March 6-11, 2012, in Belgrade, awarded the Letter of Thanks to the Military Medical Academy for medical support provided to this event.
The Championship held in the Belgrade Arena was medically supported by the team of physicians from the MMA led by Maj. Nikola Čikiriz, while the responsibility for direct supervision of medical support and implementation of doping control program was assigned to the head of the MMA Treatment Sector Col. Dr. Stevan Sikimić, who is at the same time a member of the Medical and Anti-Doping Commission of the World Wresting Federation (FILA).
The MMA medical team was commended for its performance during the competition by the organizers, and Secretary General Michel Dusson forwarded on behalf of the World Wresting Federation the letter of thanks to Dr. Sikimić.
