Installation of an artificial sphincter in a patient with urinary incontinence, developed as a result of the pelvic fracture, was successfully performed at the Military Medical Academy. The expert team of the Clinic for Urology MMA was led by the Head of the Clinic Col. Prof. Dr. Novak Milovic in cooperation with Dr. Vladimir Kojovic from the Institute of Health Protection of Mother and Child of Serbia "Dr Vukan Cupic".

This surgical procedure was for the first time performed in Serbia and it represents the most advanced form of incontinence treatment in men.
