As of today, all practicing doctors from the Military Medical Academy have a medical license to practice medicine.

The paper of the civilian employee Vera Đuričić from the MMA Clinic for Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology titled ‘The role of nurse in nursing personnel education on the importance of stressors in the preoperative care’ was declared to be the best paper presented at the recently held Symposium of head medical nurses, technicians and midwives of the Republic of Serbia.

In the organization of the MMA Clinic for Anesthesiology and Critical Care, the meeting of the Serbian Medical Society’s Section for Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Therapy with participation of more than 250 professionals from Serbia, Montenegro, the Republic of Srpska and Macedonia was held at the Military Medical Academy.

On the occasion of marking the 60th anniversary of the existence and work of the Institute of Medicinal Plant Research. "Dr.Josif Pancic", Belgrade, the MMA Institute of Scientific Information was awarded the special plaque for its contribution to the successful work and development of that Institute.

Colonel Prof. Zoran Kovačević, Md, PhD, the head of the MMA Nephrology Clinic was appointed the president of the Nephrology Section of the Serbian Medical Society at the Nephrology Section meeting held in Belgrade, on November 28, 2008.
