Clinic for Ophthalmology
The MMA’s Clinic for Ophthalmology provides a wide spectrum of diagnostic procedures required to timely establish the diagnosis, decide on the choice of treatment or evaluate the effectiveness of the therapy.
Its surgical team is highly specialized in carrying out various surgical procedures, from the simplest to the most complex ones involving the anterior and posterior segment of the eye and eye adnexis. Surgeries relating to the posterior segment of the eye that are considered  the most complex surgical procedures in the field of ophthalmology have, for a longer time, been a part of the Clinic’s routine practice. The Clinic also carries out cataract surgeries applying advanced ultrasound method (phacoemulsification surgery), combined glaucoma and cataract surgeries or combined surgical procedures in the anterior and posterior segment of the eye (so called Phaco-vitrectomy).
