Clinic for Plastic Surgery and Burns
The Clinic for Plastic Surgery and Burns is one of the rare clinics in the world dealing with virtually all the aspects of plastic surgery. The operating rooms boast the state-of-the-art equipment providing the most complex surgical procedures in all the areas of reconstructive surgery and treatment of burns to be performed.
The Clinic has two Departments which together cooperate 55 beds: the Department of Plastic Surgery with 29 beds and the Department of Burns with 26 beds. The Department of Burns has two operating rooms, two IC units and two modern dressing sections with hydrotherapy baths. The Clinic also has one operating room within the Operating Block and variable number of beds in the surgical IC unit.

History

Its founder and the first head was Professor Vinko Arneri, one of the world leading plastic surgeons of that time and the author of a great number of papers, books and original surgical methods which made this Clinic recognizable worldwide.
