During his official visit to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia anent the celebration of 29 May – International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers, marked by the official opening of the exhibition named „Army Peacekeeping Missions 1956-2011“ at the Military Museum in Belgrade, Spanish Major General Alberto Asarta Cuevas, Commander of UN Peacekeeping Forces deployed in Lebanon within the UNFIL mission, accompanied by Brigadier General Milan Mojsilović, Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations Command of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces made a short visit to MMA (Military Medical Academy).

Institute of Pharmacy of MMA hosted a seminar held in the period from May 20-25, 2011, under the organization of the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists. “Hospital pharmacists as part of the therapeutic drug committee” and “Patient safety: Role of hospital pharmacists in risk management” were topic to which the seminar was dedicated.

Trainings of cardiopulmonary reanimation (BLS Provider Course and BLS-AED Instructor Course) were organized at the offices of Training Centre in Novi Sad on May 20th and 22nd, 2011, under the sponsorship of the European Resuscitation Council, as part of development and improvement of international military cooperation in the domain of education and training of medical staff in country and in the region for participation in international activities, and in accordance to the Curriculum of the Training Centre of MMA Medical Service.
