The 2-day MBC (Mediterranean Burn Center) Instructional Course on prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of the burn patients was held at the military medical Academy in the organization of the Serbian Association for Plastic, Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgery and Mediterranean Center for Burns.
Continuation of the Successful Cooperation between MMA and OPCW

The delegation of the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague composed of managers of the OPCW Medical Department Stephen Neault i Franz Ontal, paid a visit to the Military medical Academy and reviewed with the responsible representatives of our institution all the aspects of two-year long cooperation in the field of education and training of the OPCW personnel at the Academy.

MMA at the World Military Medicine Congress

The 38th World Congress on Military Medicine was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on October 4 to 9, 2009. The MMA’s delegation led by its head, Major General Prof. Dr. Miodrag Jevtić took a noticeable part in the Congress work. The delegation was composed of three members: Col. Prof. Dr. Zoran Popović, Col. Assist. Prof. Dr. Radomir Samardžić and civilian employee Prof. Dr. Slavica Vučinić.

Austrian Military Medical Delegation in the Visit to the MMA

‘’We can be satisfied with excellent relationships we have had with Austrian Military Medical Services in the previous period; however, we would direct our additional efforts towards making it much better and comprehensive. That will be much easier if we get to know one another much better’’, said the MMA’s Head, Major General Prof. Dr. Miodrag Jevtić welcoming the delegation of the Austrian Armed Forces. Within the bilateral cooperation framework established between those two countries, the Austrian delegation was paying an official visit to our Military Medical Services during which it would be in a 2-day visit to the Military Medical Academy.
8 years of cooperation between the MMA and the Congress Library in Washington D.C.

Mr. Miliša Petronijević from the Congress Library in Washington D.C. paid a visit to the Military Medical Academy. Thanks to him, the MMA has excellent 8-year long cooperation with the best-known library in the world. Based on that cooperation, the MMA’s library got several hundreds of the most important monographs covering all the fields of medicine, pharmacy and dental medicine.
